Assessments We Do

Comprehensive Clinical Assessments (CCA)

A comprehensive Clinical Assessment provides a thorough evaluation of an individual’s mental health, including their emotional, psychological, and behavioral functioning. This assessment typically involves a detailed clinical interview, standardized tests, and various diagnostic tools to gain a complete understanding of the individual’s concerns and needs. The goal is to identify any underlying issues, develop a tailored treatment plan, and guide effective intervention strategies to support the individual’s overall well-being and mental health goals.

Clinical Assessment of Protective Parenting (CAPP)

The North Carolina Clinical Assessment of Protective Parenting (NCCAPP) is a specialized tool designed to evaluate the effectiveness and adequacy of a parent’s protective practices in safeguarding their child’s well-being. It assesses various aspects of parenting, including the parent’s ability to provide a safe environment, respond to the child’s emotional and physical needs, and manage risks effectively. The assessment typically involves a combination of interviews, observations, and standardized measures to identify potential areas of concern and inform interventions aimed at enhancing parenting strategies and ensuring the child’s safety and developmental needs are met. Diagnostic Clinical Assessment

A diagnostic clinical assessment is a comprehensive evaluation used to identify and diagnose mental health disorders by systematically gathering and analyzing information about an individual’s symptoms, history, and functioning. This assessment typically involves conducting structured or semi-structured interviews, administering standardized diagnostic tools and questionnaires, and reviewing medical, psychological, and social history. The goal is to accurately determine the presence of any mental health conditions, understand their impact on the individual’s life, and guide the development of an effective treatment plan tailored to their specific needs.
